Savory cake: Turkey, cheddar, mushrooms

A great recipe of savory cake that could fit as a lunch box or main course, even as a starter for welcoming your guests.  Easy to do, hard to fail, that is the perfect dish for every occasion

What do you need?

  • 150 g of fresh chestnuts mushrooms
  • 200 g of turkey
  • 60 g of grated cheddar
  • 45 g of goat cheese
  • 3 eggs
  • 50g of olive oil
  • 125 g of flour
  • 7g of baking powder
  • Chives

How to do a Savory cake: Turkey, cheddar and mushrooms ?

  • Slice in square the pieces of turkey
  • Stir them in a pan for 5 minutes in order to let them come white
  • Wash and slice the chestnuts mushrooms
  • Cook them for 15 minutes in a pan with 5g of butter or oil
  • In a large bowl, mix together the eggs with the olive oil
  • Add the flour and the baking powder
  • Add the cheddar and square pieces of goat cheese
  • Add the cold chestnuts mushrooms and turkey
  • Add the chives
  • Put all the mix in a square or long mould
  • Bake it in the oven for 45 minutes at 200°C
  • Serve it cold
