This caramel jelly was quite emblematic when I was a child, and it is so nice and easy to re-create it.

PREPARATION: 10 minutes
COOK: 20 minutes
DIFFICULTY: Star

What do you need?

  •  650 ml of semi-skimmed milk
  • 50 g of Demerara sugar
  • 2 teaspoon of vanilla aroma
  • 2 g of Agar-Agar
  • Agave syrup

How to do a Caramel jelly ?

  • Put in the bottom of each mould, one or two spoons of Agave Syrup
  • Put the mould in the fridge and prepare the jelly

! Tip: put the mould with the syrup in the fridge allows having everything really chilled and that will create a thermal choc with the really hot jelly mixture

  • In a large pan, mix together milk, sugar, vanilla and agar-agar
  • Heat the preparation until the boiling point
  • Then let the preparation 2 more minutes on the heat in order to allow the agar-agar to be effective
  • Pour the preparation in each mould
  • Let’s cool the preparation
  • Then add the top and store the Flamby in the fridge
