That is a typical dish from the North of France. No good for diet but so delicious from time to time 🙂

What do you need?

  • 250 g of Red Leicester cheese
  • 1 teaspoon of mustard
  • 30 ml of beer
  • 2 toasts
  • 2 slices of ham

How to do the Welsh?

  • Cut the cheese in square pieces
  • In a large non-stick frying pan, put the square pieces of cheese with the mustard and the beer
  • Preheat the oven at 150°C
  • Let melt the cheese with the beer and the mustard

Be careful Beware: you have to stir frequently in order to avoid burning the preparation

  • Put in a each large dish a toast
  • Add on the top a slice of ham
  • Add the previous mixture
  • Put the dishes for 10/15 minutes at 150°C
  • Serve the Welsh hot with French fries
