Asian Chicken skewers

Easy and quick recipe for eating delicious chicken skewers with an Asian touch

PREPARATION: 20 minutes + 1 hour in the fridge
COOK: 10 minutes

What do you need?

  • 400 g chicken breast
  • 40 ml soya sauce
  • 2 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon mustard
  • 2 tablespoon mirin
  • sesame seeds
  • 2 tablespoon of vegetable oil

How to make Asian Chicken skewers?
Prepare the marinade:

  • In a large bowl, mix the soya sauce, honey, mustard, mirin and sesame seeds
  • Cut in square the chicken breast
  • Put the chicken pieces in the marinade
  • Mix together
    ! Tip: each chicken piece has to be covered by the marinade
  • Put it in the fridge for 1 hour or for 1 night

Prepare the skewers:

  • Prepare the skewers with square pieces of marinated chicken
  • Put vegetable oil in a grill pan
  • Add the skewers and cook them for 5 minutes for each side of the skewers

! Tip: add regularly some marinade on the top of the skewers in order to let them really tender

  • Serve the Asian chicken skewers with Basmati rice
