Soup of Marrow

The Marrow is a big green vegetable but it releases a lot of water when you cook it, so it is necessary to add potatoes and soft cheese in order to thicken the soup.

COOK: 20 minutes

What do you need ?

  • 1 marrow
  • 2/3 potoatoes
  • 100 g soft cheese
  • 1 vegetable cube
  • a pinch of basilica
  • a pinch of salt (it is optional)
  • 50 cl of water

How to make a soup of Marrow?

  • Peel the marrow and cut it in small pieces
  • Peel the potatoes and cut them in small pieces
  • Put the potatoes and the marrow in a boiling pan filled with 50 cl of water
  • Add the vegetable cube and a pinch of basilica
  • Simmer the preparation for 20 minutes until it becomes tender to eat
  • Mix it
  • And the soft cheese and mix it again
  • Serve it immediately
