Chicken with lemon

lemon chicken
A light and tasty recipe which combines chicken with lemon. It is easy to prepare as the first part can be completed the day before. It is ideal for a lunch box

This recipe can be served with pilaf rice, fresh pasta or steamed potatoes.

COOK: 20 minutes

What do you need?

  • 200 g skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 fresh lemons or lemon juice
  • 10 cl single fresh cream
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 1 egg yolk (optional)
  • parsley
  • salt
  • pepper

How to make Chicken with lemon?

  • Heat the oil in a frying pan over a medium heat
  • Brown the chicken breasts
  • Add the juice of one lemon and add pepper and salt
  • Simmer (cover with a lid) for 10/15 minutes at medium heat
  • Add the juice of the second lemon and keep cooking a few minutes without lid
  • Remove the chicken
    ! Beware: to not burn the preparation
  • Pour the lemon juice in the frying pan and mix it with fresh single cream, parsley (and egg yolk).
    That will be the sauce that you will pour on the chicken
  • Pour the resulting sauce on your chicken breasts
