Soup of leeks

Soupe poireaux
A great starter or a tasty single dish, particularly appreciated in winter times.

PREPARATION: 5 minutes
COOK: 15/20 minutes

What do you need ?

  • the green part of 2 leeks or 2 whole leeks
  • 1 potato
  • a pinch of salt

How to make soup of leeks?

  • Cut the leeks in little pieces
  • Peel the potato and cut it in little pieces
  • Put leeks and the sliced potato in a boiling pan filled with 50 cl of water
  • Add salt pinch
  • Simmer the preparation for 15/20 minutes until it becomes tender to eat
  • Mix it and serve it immediately

! Tip: you can add soft cheese on your soup, it is creamier
