First things first, who's the lucky (or should we say, 'lucky'?) fella?

Drumroll, please! It's none other than Adam Devine, you know, the guy who made you laugh till your sides split in 'Workaholics' and 'Pitch Perfect'.

Now, why's this news more exciting than finding gold in them thar hills?

Well, for starters, Adam Devine is like the modern-day equivalent of Mark Twain. He's got that same knack for making you laugh and think, all at the same time. Plus, he's got the charm and wit to pull off playing the great American humorist.

But wait, there's more! (You knew there would be, right?)

Here's a fun fact that'll make you say, 'Well, I'll be!' Adam Devine is actually a distant relative of Mark Twain. Yep, you heard it right! They're like, what, sixth cousins twice removed or something like that. Talk about typecasting, huh?

So, what's Adam Devine got to say about playing his famous relative?

He's been pretty open about how excited he is to step into Mark Twain's shoes. He's even joked about how he's been practicing his best 'Mark Twain' facial hair. (Hint: It involves a lot of twirling and stroking.)

Well, it's a Western comedy film directed by the one and only Anna Faris. (Yes, you read that right. She's not just an actress; she's a director too!) The film's got a star-studded cast, including Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson, who's also producing the movie. It's all about a gang of outlaws who are on a mission to rescue their leader's kidnapped wife. (Spoiler alert: It's not as serious as it sounds. There's a lot of laughing involved.)
