How Old Is Dash In The Incredibles

So, How Old is Dash in 'The Incredibles'?

Alright, gather 'round, folks. Let's dive into this like we're at a backyard barbecue, not a stuffy history lesson. You know how sometimes you're trying to figure out how old your neighbor's kid is, but you don't want to ask because, well, math was never your thing? That's kinda where we're at with Dash from 'The Incredibles'.

First off, let's set the scene. 'The Incredibles' hit our screens in 2004, which, if you're doing the math, was a whopping 17 years ago. Now, I know what you're thinking, "But, I wasn't even born then!" Yeah, yeah, you're welcome for making you feel old. Let's move on.

Dash's Age in 'The Incredibles'

Now, here's where things get a tad tricky. 'The Incredibles' doesn't give us a straight-up age for Dash. It's like when your friend says they'll "be there in a minute" and you're still waiting two hours later. But, we can make some educated guesses, so bear with me.

In the movie, Dash is in elementary school. He's got that boundless energy, always fidgeting, and he's got a mouth full of baby teeth. Sound familiar? It's like looking at a picture of your little cousin when they were seven, but with super speed powers.

So, if we're going by the school year, Dash would be around 8 or 9 years old in 'The Incredibles'. But remember, these are just our best guesses. Pixar could've aged him up or down for the story, like when your mom says you can't have ice cream before dinner, but then she sneaks you some when dad's not looking.

Dash's Age in 'Incredibles 2'

Now, let's fast-forward to 'Incredibles 2', which came out in 2018. Dash is still a kid, but he's grown a bit. He's got that preteen attitude, you know, like when your teenager rolls their eyes at everything you say. It's like watching your kid grow up, but in movie form.

If we're going by the time gap between the movies (which is about 14 years in the real world, but who's counting?), Dash would be around 12 or 13 in 'Incredibles 2'. But again, Pixar's not giving us a straight answer. They're like that friend who always says they'll reveal the big secret "soon", but never does.
