So, there I was, minding my own business, down the Queen Vic, when I overheard a couple of regulars discussing the good old days. You know, the time when the Carters ruled the roost, and Phil Mitchell was just a scrawny kid. And then, one of them drops a bombshell - "Remember Fatboy?" I nearly choked on my pint. Fatboy? The name sent me spiraling down memory lane, and I realized, I had no idea what happened to him. So, grab a drink, and let's dive into the enigma that is Fatboy Chubb.
Who Was Fatboy, Again?
Alright, let's not pretend we're all soap opera connoisseurs here. For those who need a refresher, Fatboy Chubb was a beloved character in EastEnders. He was a bit of a joker, always ready with a quip, and had a heart of gold despite his sometimes questionable actions. He was played by the brilliant Ricky Groves, who, by the way, is now a successful personal trainer. Life's a funny old game, isn't it?
His Exit: A Mystery Wrapped in an Enigma
Now, here's where it gets interesting. Fatboy's exit from EastEnders was as dramatic as his entrance. In 2011, he was found guilty of murdering his girlfriend, Roxy Mitchell, and sentenced to life in prison. But here's the twist - he was released on appeal just a year later. So, what happened next? Well, that's the million-pound question, isn't it?
Must Read
Ricky Groves left the show in 2012, and Fatboy was last seen on screen in 2013, helping out his mate Phil Mitchell with a bit of DIY. But then, poof! He vanished into thin air. No dramatic goodbye, no final words of wisdom. Just... gone. It's like he was never there. Spooky, huh?

Where Are They Now? (A Wild Guess)
So, what happened to Fatboy? Well, your guess is as good as mine. But let's indulge in a little speculation, shall we? Maybe he's living it up in Miami, running a successful beachside bar, and laughing all the way to the bank. Or perhaps he's back in Albert Square, hiding out in the Argee Bhajee, waiting for the perfect moment to make his comeback. Hey, a girl can dream, can't she?
Seriously though, who knows what happened to Fatboy? Maybe one day, we'll get our answer. Until then, let's raise a glass to the memory of a true EastEnders legend. Cheers!
