Call The Midwife Cast Christmas 2025

So, grab your cuppa, pull up a chair, and let's spill the tea on what could be the most fabulous Christmas special yet - "Call the Midwife" Cast Christmas 2025!

Picture This...

It's December 25th, 2025. The Nonnatus House tree is twinkling, the fire is crackling, and the midwives are all gathered 'round, looking like they've just stepped out of a vintage Christmas card. But hold onto your stockings, because this year, there's a twist!

You know how we've all been wondering what happened to Sister Monica Joan after she wandered off into that blizzard? Well, spoiler alert, she's been living in a cozy little cottage in the Scottish Highlands, brewing her own whiskey, and teaching the locals about the joy of knitting!

Sister Monica Joan's Big Return

That's right, folks! Our favorite eccentric nun is making a comeback, just in time for Christmas. And she's not the only one. Remember Nurse Crane? The one who left to pursue her dreams of becoming a jazz singer? Well, she's back too, and she's bringing her own little Christmas miracle with her!

Now, I know what you're thinking. "How on earth are they going to fit all these surprise reunions into one Christmas special?" Well, my friend, that's where our beloved showrunner, Heidi Thomas, works her magic. She's promised us a Christmas special that's "jam-packed with joy, tears, and more than a few surprises." And let's be real, with Heidi at the helm, we know we're in for a treat!

New Faces and Old Friends

But wait, there's more! In true "Call the Midwife" fashion, we're not just welcoming back old favorites. Oh no, we're getting some brand new midwives too! There's Nurse Lily, a feisty young woman with a heart of gold and a head full of dreams. And Nurse Oliver, a gentle giant with a knack for making even the grumpiest of patients crack a smile.

And what about our old favorites? Well, you know Nurse Trixie will be there, raising a glass (or two) of champagne. And Dr. Turner, well, he'll probably be trying to keep everyone in line, while secretly loving every minute of the chaos.

And let's not forget the music! The "Call the Midwife" Christmas specials are always filled with beautiful, soul-stirring songs. This year, we've got a special performance from the one and only Petula Clark, who's flying in all the way from her retirement in the South of France!
