Capital Summer Time Ball Line Up

Get Ready to Dance into Summer with the Capital Summer Time Ball Line Up!

Hey there, summer lovers! You know what they say, "Life's a dance, you just gotta find the rhythm." And guess who's here to help you find that beat? The Capital Summer Time Ball, of course! So, let's dive right in and check out this year's line up. You're gonna love it!

Kicking Things Off with a Bang!

First up, we've got Dexys Midnight Runners, the legends behind "Come On Eileen". Can you believe it's been over 40 years since that tune hit the airwaves? Time flies when you're having fun, right? These guys are gonna get the party started with a blast from the past that'll have you dancing like it's 1982!

Next, we've got Bryan Ferry, the man who brought us "Slave to Love" and "Let's Stick Together". If you're a fan of smooth, sultry vocals, you're in for a treat. Bryan's set is gonna be like a cool ocean breeze on a hot summer's day. Just sit back, close your eyes, and let that voice wash over you.

Time to Get Funky!

Now, let's crank up the heat with Earth, Wind & Fire! These guys are like the musical equivalent of a fireworks display - explosive, vibrant, and full of color. Get ready to boogie down to classics like "September" and "Boogie Wonderland". If you're not dancing by the end of their set, check your pulse - you might be dead!

And speaking of funk, we've got Mark Ronson on the bill too. This guy's produced hits for everyone from Amy Winehouse to Dua Lipa, so you know he's got the goods. Expect a high-energy set packed with dancefloor fillers. It's gonna be like a giant, sweaty, feel-good party - and who doesn't love a good party?

Slowing Things Down... a Bit

But don't worry, we're not gonna leave you gasping for breath all night. We've got some slower tunes lined up too. Mavis Staples, the queen of soul, is gonna grace the stage with her presence. Her voice is like liquid gold, warm and rich and oh-so-sweet. She'll have you swaying along, lost in the moment.

Sam Ryder and Nathan Dawe join the star-studded line-up for Capital’s

And if that's not enough to get you in the mood for love, Rick Astley will be there to "Never Gonna Give You Up". (Sorry, we had to.) But seriously, Rick's got a voice that's as smooth as butter, and his set is gonna be pure, unadulterated romance. Cue the slow dances and the smooches under the stars.

And There's More!

We've still got Tom Jones, the man with the voice of a god, ready to belt out his hits. And Jess Glynne, the powerhouse vocalist who's got more number ones than you can shake a stick at. Plus, Van Morrison, the legendary singer-songwriter who's gonna take us on a musical journey through his incredible back catalog.

Phew! Told you it was a good line up, didn't I?
