Pre-Orders and Release Dates

Now, you're probably wondering, "When could I actually get my hands on this shiny new toy?" Well, pre-orders kicked off right after the event, on February 9. Samsung was like, "Here you go, world! Now don't say we never gave you anything."

But here's the thing, the actual release date varied a bit depending on where you lived. In the US, for instance, the S22 hit the shelves on March 11, 2022. But in other countries, it was a bit of a waiting game - some had to cool their heels until late March or even early April.

Why the Wait?

You might be thinking, "Why the delay, Samsung? We were ready to upgrade, like, yesterday!" Well, blame it on the global chip shortage. It was like trying to get a table at the hottest new restaurant in town - if you could even find one, it was gonna take a while.
