My Little Pony Friendship Is Magic Behind The Voice Actors

Saddle Up with the Ponies: A Chat with the Voice Actors Behind 'My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic'

Ever wondered who's behind the whinnies and neighs of your favorite ponies in 'My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic'? We're not just talking about the magical creatures, but the talented voice actors who bring them to life. So, grab your favorite snack, get comfy, and let's dive into the colorful world of MLP behind the scenes.

Tara Strong: The Pony Powerhouse

Tara Strong, the voice behind Twilight Sparkle, is a powerhouse in the animation world. You might recognize her from other shows like 'Teen Titans Go!' (Raven) or 'Rugrats' (Bubbles). She's a master of multitasking, often recording lines for multiple shows in a single day. Her secret? "I just imagine I'm talking to my friends," she laughs. Practical tip: Next time you're feeling overwhelmed, channel your inner Twilight and tackle tasks one friend at a time.

John de Lancie: The Q-ender of Pony Tales

John de Lancie, who voices King Sombra and Discord, needs no introduction to 'Star Trek' fans. He's the iconic Q, after all. But did you know he's also a talented musician? He often brings his guitar to the recording studio, setting a chill vibe for his co-stars. Fun fact: He once serenaded the cast with his own Discord-themed song. Now that's a backstage story worth telling!

Ashleigh Ball: The Double Trouble

Ashleigh Ball voices not one, but two main characters: Applejack and Rainbow Dash. Talk about a multitasking marvel! She's also a talented musician, fronting the indie rock band Hey Ocean! off-screen. Her advice for juggling roles? "Find the unique qualities in each character and let them shine." Practical tip: Apply this to your daily life by highlighting your unique qualities and letting your personality 'shine' in different situations.

Tabitha St. Germain: The Voice Chameleon

Tabitha St. Germain voices a whopping 17 characters in the MLP universe. That's like having an entire pony town living inside her! She's a voice chameleon, effortlessly switching between accents and personalities. Her favorite? Rarity, the fashionable unicorn. "She's like the diva we all wish we could be," Tabitha jokes. Cultural reference: Think of Rarity as the pony version of Cher - fabulous, fierce, and always ready with a witty comeback.
