How Old Is Deran Cody In Season 1

So, you're curious about the age of Deran Cody in Season 1 of "Animal Kingdom"? Well, buckle up, 'cause we're about to dive into a world of sun-kissed California, family drama, and a whole lot of tattoos. Let's get this show on the road!

First things first

Deran Cody, played by the ever-so-charming Jake Weary, is a character in the TNT drama "Animal Kingdom". The show's set in the sunny Golden State, and it's all about the Cody family - a bunch of charming rogues who are more into the "crime" part of "crime drama" than, say, knitting circles.

Now, let's talk about Deran. He's the middle child of the Cody clan, and he's got a bit of a complex. You see, he's stuck between his older brother, Pope, who's all "I'm the chosen one, I'm the chosen one!", and his younger brother, Craig, who's just a bundle of energy and chaos. It's a tough spot to be in, I tell ya.

But enough about his family dynamics, let's get to the good stuff - his age!

In Season 1, Deran is a strapping young lad of 25 years old. That's right, he's a quarter of a century old, folks! Now, I know what you're thinking, "But how can that be? He looks so young and fresh-faced!" Well, my friends, that's the magic of good genes and Hollywood makeup.

But here's where things get a little interesting. You see, Deran might be the middle child, but he's got an old soul. He's the voice of reason in the family, the one who's always trying to keep everyone in line. And let me tell you, with a family like the Codys, that's no easy task.

Now, you might be thinking, "How can a 25-year-old be so wise?"

Well, my friends, it's all in the backstory. You see, Deran's had a bit of a tough life. He's seen his fair share of ups and downs, and he's had to grow up faster than most. So, while he might be 25 on the outside, on the inside, he's got the wisdom of a man twice his age.

And let's not forget about his military background. Deran served in the Marines, which means he's got a whole other layer of maturity and responsibility that most 25-year-olds just don't have. It's like he's got a secret superpower - the power of wisdom beyond his years!

But don't let his serious side fool you

Deran might be wise beyond his years, but he's still got a sense of humor. He's got a dry wit that's as sharp as a tack, and he's not afraid to use it. In fact, some of the best moments in the show are when Deran's delivering a perfectly timed zinger.

And let's not forget about his love for tattoos. Deran's got more ink than a printer's shop, and each one tells a story. It's like a visual representation of his journey through life. It's pretty cool, if you ask me.
