How Old Are The Gallaghers Oasis

Ever wondered how old the Gallagher brothers, the heart and soul of Oasis, really are? Let's dive in, shall we?

Liam Gallagher - The Younger, Wilder One

Kicking things off with the younger Gallagher, Liam. Born on September 30, 1972, in Manchester, England. That makes him a 49-year-old Virgo, folks! Can you believe it?

Liam's always been the more, shall we say, expressive one. Remember his iconic "You're just a guitar in my band" line from the documentary "Supersonic"? Classic Liam!

Noel Gallagher - The Older, Wiser Brother

Now, let's talk about Noel, the elder statesman of the Gallagher clan. He was born on May 29, 1967, also in Manchester. That makes him a 55-year-old Gemini. Surprised? You shouldn't be, he's always been the more mysterious one!

Noel's the one who wrote most of Oasis' hits, you know. "Wonderwall", "Don't Look Back in Anger", the list goes on. But did you know he also wrote "Songbird" for his then-wife Meg Matthews? Aw, young love!

Age Gap - The Original Oasis Rivalry

Here's a fun fact for you: there's a 5-year age gap between the brothers. That's right, Noel was already a teenager when Liam was born. Imagine the banter!

This age difference might have contributed to their infamous sibling rivalry. Remember their feud during the 90s? It was like watching a real-life soap opera, wasn't it?

Birthdays and Beefs - A Timeline

Liam turned 49 in 2021, and Noel celebrated his 55th the year before. But here's a twist: Noel's birthday is just a few days after Oasis' first gig. Talk about a double celebration!

And speaking of gigs, did you know Liam once forgot Noel's birthday while they were on tour? Ouch! That's what you get for being the younger one, Liam!

Still Going Strong - Despite the Years

Despite their age and the ups and downs, both brothers are still making music and entertaining us. Liam's been busy with his solo career, while Noel's been keeping us on our toes with his High Flying Birds.

So, there you have it, folks! The Gallagher brothers might be getting older, but their music and legacy live on. Here's to many more years of Oasis tunes and brotherly banter!
