Meet Bill, The Gun Guy

Bill Wilson, he's like that one friend who's always talking about his latest project, but you can't help but listen 'cause he's passionate, ya know? He's a gunsmith, born and bred in Berryville, Arkansas. Now, Berryville ain't no big city, it's more like that small town where everyone knows everyone's business. But hey, it's the perfect place to grow up if you're gonna become a gun whisperer.

Bill, he started tinkering with guns when he was just a young whippersnapper. His dad, a World War II vet, passed down the love for firearms. It was like Bill was born with a wrench in one hand and a screwdriver in the other. He's like that neighbor who can fix anything with just a smile and a bit of grease.

So, Bill, he starts this little business, Wilson Combat, out of his garage. Picture this: it's the '70s, the Vietnam War is over, and Bill's thinking, "Hey, I can make these guns better, safer, and just plain cooler." He starts customizing 1911 pistols, making them like no one else. It's like taking a old, rusty car and turning it into a shiny, purring hot rod.

Word gets out, and next thing you know, Bill's garage is bursting at the seams. He's got guns coming in from all over, like a one-man gun whisperer convention. He hires some folks, moves into a real shop, and Wilson Combat is officially a thing.

His net worth, according to some fancy pants folks who crunch numbers for a living, is around $50 million. That's like finding out your neighbor who fixes cars on the side is actually a millionaire!

But here's the thing, Bill's not just rolling in dough 'cause he's good at making guns. He's also a shrewd businessman. He's like that wise old owl who knows when to hoot and when to hush. He's invested in real estate, he's got his hands in other businesses, and he's smart with his money. He's not flashy, he's just... Bill.
