Who Voices Thor In God Of War Ragnarok

Alright, gather 'round, folks. Today, we're diving into the realm of video games, specifically the upcoming God of War Ragnarok. You know, that game where you get to channel your inner Norse god and smash stuff. Now, you might be wondering, who's the voice behind everyone's favorite Asgardian, Thor? Let's find out, yeah?

Meet Alison Brie

So, picture this: you're at a party, and someone starts talking about their new job. You're not really listening, but then they drop a bomb - "I'm the new voice of Thor in God of War Ragnarök!" You'd probably do a double-take, right? That's what happened when I heard Alison Brie was taking on the role. I mean, she's known for her witty banter in shows like Community and GLOW, but Thor? Really?

But you know what? It makes perfect sense. Think about it. Thor's all about the charm, the wit, the humor. He's like that friend who's always cracking jokes, even when you're trying to be serious. And who better to bring that to life than an actress who's made a career out of it?

From Rachel to Thor

Now, I'm sure some of you are thinking, "But what about Travis? He's been Thor since forever!" I get it, change can be tough. But remember when Friends ended and we all had to accept that Rachel wasn't going to be our favorite fashionista anymore? It was hard, but we adjusted. And look at us now, embracing Alison as our new Thor.

Alison's no stranger to voice acting, either. She's done voices for animated shows like BoJack Horseman and Unikitty!. So, she's got the chops. Plus, she's a huge fan of the God of War series. She's even said she's been playing the games since she was a kid. Talk about a dream job, huh?

What's in a Voice?

You might be wondering, how does she sound as Thor? Well, she's got that perfect balance of charm, humor, and just the right amount of godly arrogance. She's not trying to mimic Chris Hemsworth or anything. She's making the role her own, and it's working.

Think about it like ordering a pizza. You could go for the classic pepperoni, but sometimes you want to try something new. Like, what if we added pineapple? (Don't @ me, pineapple lovers.) The point is, change can be good. And in this case, it's brought us a fresh, hilarious take on Thor.

Thor: God of Quips

One thing's for sure, Alison's Thor is going to be a laugh riot. I mean, have you seen her Twitter? She's already dropping godly one-liners left and right. She's basically become the god of quips. And isn't that what we all need in these trying times? A little humor to lighten the load?

So, there you have it. Alison Brie is the new voice of Thor in God of War Ragnarök. She's bringing her signature wit and charm to the role, and I, for one, can't wait to hear her godly banter. Now, if you'll excuse me, I've got some pineapple pizza to order. (Again, don't @ me.)
