Meet Anjelika Washington

Alright, so picture this. You're scrolling through Netflix, and suddenly, this vibrant, fierce, and oh-so-talented actress pops up as Marie. That, my friend, is Anjelika Washington. Ring a bell? No? Well, let me jog your memory.

Remember DC's Stargirl? You know, that show that made us all wish we had superpowers too? Anjelika was the fabulous Beth Chapel, the tech genius with a heart of gold. She was the brains behind the operation, and let me tell you, she slayed it.

But enough about her past roles. Let's talk about Gen V. Anjelika plays Marie Monroe, the charismatic and quick-witted leader of the superhero group, The Guard. She's the one keeping everyone in check, dishing out sass, and looking fabulous while doing it. I mean, have you seen her outfits? Werk, girl!

From Beth to Marie

Now, you might be thinking, "How does Anjelika pull off playing such different characters?" Well, my friend, it's all about her range. She's got this incredible ability to make each character uniquely her own. With Beth, she was all about the brains and the quirkiness. But with Marie, she's channeling her inner badass, and let me tell you, it's working.
