This championship has been around since the Stone Age... well, not quite, but it's been a thing since 1963. It's gone through more name changes than a superhero's alter ego. From the WWWF Heavyweight Championship to the WWF Championship, and finally, the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, it's been a wild ride!

And guess who's the longest-reigning champ? It's not who you'd expect. It's Bob Backlund, who held the belt for a whopping 454 days. That's like, forever in wrestling years!

Champ-ions of the World

Now, you might be thinking, "Who are some of these champ-ions?" Well, let me tell you, it's a who's who of wrestling royalty. We're talking Hulk Hogan, Steve Austin, John Cena, and even Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson.
