When Is Haikyuu Season 5 Coming Out

So, When's Haikyuu Season 5 Hitting the Court?

You know, I was at the local conbini the other day, grabbing my daily fix of convenience store coffee, when I overheard a group of high schoolers. They were talking about their favorite anime, and guess what was at the top of their list? You got it - Haikyuu!!. I couldn't help but chime in, asking when they thought Season 5 was coming out. The looks they gave me were a mix of confusion and pity, like I'd just asked if Naruto could use the Kage Bunshin no Jutsu again. That's when I realized, I'd better do some digging and find out for myself - and for you, dear reader.

Let's Set the Scene

We're all caught up, right? Hinata and Kageyama are finally on the same team, and the action at the Spring High School Volleyball Tournament was off the charts. But then, just as we were getting into the zone, the season ended. And we were left there, hanging, with our hands outstretched, ready to receive the next serve. It's been a while now, and we're all itching to know - when's the next season coming?

Well, let's dive into what we know so far.

What We Know

The manga, written and illustrated by Haruichi Furudate, is still going strong. It's been serialization in Weekly Shonen Jump since 2012, and it's not showing any signs of stopping. As of now, there are 45 volumes, with more chapters coming out every week. So, the source material is definitely there for another season.

As for the anime adaptation, it's been a while since Season 4 ended. The last episode aired on December 19, 2020. Usually, anime seasons take about a year to produce. But with the pandemic and all, production schedules have been a bit wonky. So, we can't really blame them for taking their time.

Now, here's where things get interesting. In an interview with Anime News Network, the anime's producer, Masahiko Minami, hinted that there might be more seasons coming. He said, and I quote, "Please wait for further announcements." Now, that's not a confirmation, but it's definitely a tease, right?

What We Don't Know

Here's where we're left in the dark. We don't know for sure if there will be a Season 5. We don't know when it will air, if it does. And we don't know what will happen to our favorite characters. Will Hinata finally get his ace serve? Will Kageyama master the Tsukishima-like defense? Will Sawamura finally get some screen time?

All these questions and more are keeping us on the edge of our seats. But until we get an official announcement, we're just going to have to be patient. I know, I know, patience is a virtue, but it's hard when we're this hyped!

So, What Can We Do?

Well, for starters, we can read the manga. If you're not already caught up, now's the time to dive in. It's got all the action, all the drama, and all the feels that we love from the anime. Plus, you might get some spoilers for the next season - just saying.

Haikyuu Season 5: Release Date Confirm in 2023

We can also keep an eye out for any announcements. Follow your favorite anime news sites, and keep an ear out for any whispers in the anime community. You never know when that big announcement might drop.

And finally, we can support the anime. Buy the merch, stream the show, and tell your friends about it. The more love we show for Haikyuu!!, the more likely we are to get another season.

So, there you have it, folks. We don't know when Haikyuu!! Season 5 is coming out, but we can hope. We can wait. And we can definitely stay hyped. Because, let's face it, there's nothing quite like the thrill of a new season. Until then, let's keep our fingers crossed and our eyes on the ball.
