When Did Squid Game Season 3 Release

Hey there, Netflix bingers! You're probably here 'cause you're dying to know: when's that squishy, suspenseful, survival game show from hell, Squid Game, making its comeback? Let's dive in!

Season 2, Anyone?

First things first, we gotta talk about that season 2 teaser that dropped like a bloody marble in the snow. Remember that? It was like a tiny, terrifying Christmas present. Netflix confirmed it, folks! But when's it happening?

Well, hold onto your dalgona cookies, 'cause it's not happening anytime soon. The show's creator, Hwang Dong-hyuk, said it's gonna be a while. He's got a packed schedule, what with writing, directing, and probably trying to avoid being chased by a giant robot doll.

So, What's the Hold-Up?

Hwang's busy, sure, but he's also got big plans. He's working on a Squid Game movie, a whole new story in the same universe. It's like a spin-off, but for the big screen. Isn't that just... chef's kiss?

And get this, he's also thinking about a season 3. But don't hold your breath just yet. He's said it'll take at least another 10 years. Yes, you read that right. Ten. Whole. Years. So, start counting down those marbles, folks!

And if that's not enough, there's a Squid Game reality show in the works. No, really. It's not a joke. It's happening. Contestants will play the games, but with real prizes. No death, though. Netflix isn't that cruel.

So there you have it, folks! The wait for season 3 is gonna be a long one, but there's plenty to keep us entertained in the meantime. Just remember: don't get too attached to any of the characters. They've got a nasty habit of... ahem... not making it out alive.
