When Did Gta 5 Come Out On Pc

So, When Did GTA 5 Finally Grace Our PC Screens?

Alright, gather 'round, folks. I've got a tale to tell about a game that had us all on the edge of our seats, waiting like a bunch of eager beavers. I'm talking about Grand Theft Auto V, or GTA 5 as the cool kids call it.

Now, this isn't one of those stories where the hero saves the day in a flash. No, no, this is a tale of patience, my friends. You see, GTA 5 first wowed us on consoles back in 2013. Yes, you heard it right, 2013. That's like, what, a hundred years in gaming time?

Anyway, PC gamers were left green with envy, watching their console pals having all the fun. We were like the kid at the party who didn't get invited to the cool game of hide and seek. But we knew, deep down, that one day, our time would come.

Rockstar's Big Secret

So, what was taking Rockstar so long? Were they busy perfecting the art of the drive-by? Or maybe they were just really, really good at hide and seek? No, it turns out they were busy making sure GTA 5 would run smoother than a well-oiled getaway car on our PCs.

You see, Rockstar had a little secret. They were working on something called the Rockstar Advanced Game Engine. It was like their secret weapon, designed to make GTA 5 look and play better than ever before. And let me tell you, the wait was almost worth it. Almost.

The Big Reveal

Finally, in 2014, Rockstar dropped the big news. GTA 5 was coming to PC. We cheered, we danced, we did a little happy jig. It was like Christmas had come early. But then, they dropped another bombshell. The release date? October 14, 2015.

What?! That was over a year away! We were devastated. It was like finding out your birthday party was postponed because your mom forgot to buy the cake. But we sucked it up, because, you know, Rockstar.

And Then, It Happened

October 14, 2015, rolled around, and suddenly, our PCs were no longer lonely places. GTA 5 had finally arrived, and it was glorious. We could explore Los Santos in all its high-definition glory. We could cause chaos at 60 frames per second. Life was good.

And that, my friends, is the story of how GTA 5 came to our PCs. It was a long wait, but hey, good things come to those who wait. Now, if you'll excuse me, I've got some virtual crime to attend to.
