What Is The Flower In Tangled Called

Alright, gather 'round, folks! I've got a tale to tell about a certain Disney flick, Tangled, and the flower that's the star of the show. Now, I know what you're thinking, "Who cares about a flower? I'm here for the singing horse!" Well, hold your horses (pun intended), because this flower's got a story that's more twisted than Rapunzel's hair.

So, What's the Darn Flower Called?

Alright, let's dive in. The flower in question is called the Floating Lantern Flower. Yes, it's as magical as it sounds. It's not your average daisy or rose, folks. This flower is so rare and precious, it's like the unicorn of the plant world. It only blooms once every hundred years, and when it does, it's a sight to behold.

Now, you might be wondering, "Why's it called the Floating Lantern Flower?" Well, let me tell you, this isn't your ordinary, run-of-the-mill flower. When it blooms, it releases lantern-like seeds into the air, illuminating the night sky like a real-life firefly festival. It's like nature's very own Disney parade!

Why's It So Special?

Well, aside from its dazzling light show, the Floating Lantern Flower has some serious healing powers. It's said that its petals can heal any wound, cure any illness, and even reverse the effects of aging. I mean, if that's not a miracle flower, I don't know what is!

But here's where things get interesting. According to the story, the flower's healing powers are so strong, it can even heal the heart. And not just metaphorically, folks. I mean, literally heal a broken heart. Now, I don't know about you, but I could use a few of those in my life!

Why Does Rapunzel Want It?

So, you're probably wondering why Rapunzel, our beloved heroine, is so desperate to get her hands on this magical flower. Well, it turns out, Mother Gothel, Rapunzel's not-so-loving mother, has been using the flower's healing powers to keep herself young and beautiful. And let me tell you, she's been at it for a long time. Like, really long time. We're talking centuries here, folks!

But here's the thing, the flower's powers only work when it's used by someone pure of heart. And let's just say, Mother Gothel's heart is about as pure as a used dishrag. So, when Rapunzel comes along, with her big, beautiful heart and her dream to see the floating lanterns, the flower starts to wither. And that's when the trouble begins.
