What Did Erica Find Under Lucas' Bed

So, picture this: Erica, our curious cat-lady neighbor, decides one sunny afternoon that Lucas, her tech-obsessed teenage nephew, is hiding something. Now, Erica's not your average snoop. She's more like a detective, a Nancy Drew with a penchant for mysteries and a knack for finding trouble under beds.

Operation: Bedtime Bandit

Erica, with her trusty flashlight and a determination that would make a archaeologist proud, sets out on her mission. She's not just looking for dust bunnies, mind you. No, she's on the hunt for the elusive 'Bandit' - Lucas' secret stash, whatever it may be.

Now, Lucas' room is a tech haven. It's like walking into a real-life episode of 'Stranger Things', minus the demogorgons (we hope). But Erica, she's not phased. She's seen enough of Lucas' room to know that the bed is the last frontier, the final frontier, if you will.

Under the Mattress, Under the Bed

With a swift move that would make a magician proud, Erica lifts the mattress. And there it is, folks. Not a treasure chest full of gold, but something far more valuable in today's world - a mountain of old smartphones!

Now, I know what you're thinking. "Erica, why on earth would Lucas keep old phones under his bed?" Well, my friends, it turns out Lucas has a side hustle. A side hustle that involves recycling old tech and making a pretty penny off it. Who would've thought, right?

Lucas' Tech Treasure Trove

Erica, with a mix of pride and exasperation, starts counting the phones. There are at least a dozen, all in varying states of disrepair. Some are so old, they've got antennas! Antennas, I tell you!

Now, I know what you're thinking. "But what about the data, Erica?" Well, Erica, she's no fool. She knows that Lucas knows his stuff. He's wiped each phone clean, ready for their new lives as recycled tech.

From Dust to Data

It turns out, Lucas has been selling these phones to a local recycling company. They strip the phones for parts, and the data, it's long gone. It's a win-win, really. Lucas makes some pocket money, and the phones get a second life, keeping them out of landfills.

Erica, with a shake of her head and a chuckle, decides to keep this little secret. After all, it's not every day you find a tech treasure trove under a teenager's bed. And who knows, maybe next time, she'll find something even more surprising. Like a lost sock, perhaps. Now that would be a mystery!
