So, there I was, stuck in a downpour, miles from home, and my car decided it was done for the day. Just my luck, right? I mean, I've got a knack for finding the potholes in the road of life, don't I? But hey, that's a story for another time. This one's about the time my guardian angel decided to step in.
Enter, Stage Left: My Guardian Angel
Now, I don't know about you, but I've always been a bit fuzzy on the whole guardian angel thing. I mean, sure, I've heard the stories, seen the movies, but did I really have one? Well, that night, I was about to find out.
There I was, soaked to the bone, trying to flag down a tow truck, when suddenly, a car pulled over. Out stepped this guy, all smiles, holding an umbrella. He could've been a serial killer, I guess, but something about him just felt... well, angelic, if that makes sense. He helped me get my car sorted, waited with me until the tow truck arrived, and even gave me a lift home. All the while, he was just so... nice. Like, suspiciously nice.

Cue the Lightbulb Moment
As I watched him drive off into the night, it hit me. This guy wasn't just some random Good Samaritan. No, no, no. This was my guardian angel, plain and simple. I mean, come on, the guy was practically glowing!
Now, I'm not saying I suddenly started seeing halos and wings everywhere. But I will say, I started paying a bit more attention to those little moments, those tiny nudges that seemed to guide me through life. You know, like when you're about to make a terrible decision, and suddenly, your coffee maker decides to short circuit, giving you just enough time to reconsider. Yeah, that kind of thing.

So, Here's to You, My Angel
I don't know if you're reading this, or if you even know who you are. But if you are, well, thanks. Thanks for the lift, thanks for the help, but most of all, thanks for showing me I'm not alone in this crazy world. You might not have wings or a harp, but you're my guardian angel, all the same.
And to everyone else out there, keep your eyes open. Your guardian angel might just be waiting for you in the next downpour. Just remember, they might not come with a halo, but they'll always have your back.
So, here's to you, my guardian angel. Wherever you are, whatever you're doing, know that you're appreciated. And if you ever need a cup of coffee or a listening ear, you know where to find me. Just look for the guy who's always one step away from a pothole.
