A modern-day "Knockin' on Heaven's Door"?

You might be reminded of another iconic song when listening to "See You on the Other Side" - Bob Dylan's "Knockin' on Heaven's Door." Both songs share a similar theme of mortality and the afterlife. But while Dylan's tune is more folksy, Ozzy's is a full-blown rock anthem. It's like comparing a cozy campfire to a raging bonfire - both warm you up, but one's a bit more intense!

Ozzy's influences and the track's meaning

Ozzy's always been open about his struggles with addiction and mental health. So, it's no surprise that "See You on the Other Side" reflects these experiences. The song's lyrics talk about looking forward to a better place after this life, making it a beacon of hope for many fans.
