Law And Order Criminal Intent Series 3

So, You Think You Know 'Law & Order: Criminal Intent'? Let's Spice Up Your TV Trivia!

Alright, buddy, grab a snack and get comfy. We're diving into the third series of 'Law & Order: Criminal Intent', and let me tell you, it's a wild ride. Buckle up!

Meet the New Kid on the Block

Season three kicks off with a new face in the squad room. That's right, Detective Robert Goren, played by the ever-intense Vincent D'Onofrio, is now the lead. But don't worry, Alexandra Eames, our favorite profiler, is still around, played by the fabulous Kathryn Erbe.

Now, here's a fun fact for you. D'Onofrio was so committed to his role that he spent hours with real-life detectives to perfect his character. Talk about method acting, huh?

Goren's Quirks: A Love Letter to Obsession

Goren is not your average detective. He's a bit... eccentric. I mean, who else would keep a jar of peanuts in their desk drawer 'just in case'? And don't even get me started on his love for jazz music.

But hey, his quirks make him unique, and let's face it, they make the show even more entertaining. It's like watching a real-life Sherlock Holmes, but with a New York twist.

Crime Scene: New York's Finest (and Weirdest)

This series takes us on a wild tour of the Big Apple, from the glitz of Manhattan to the grit of the Bronx. We're talking everything from high-profile murders to, well, let's just say some rather unusual crimes.

Remember the episode where a guy gets killed by a giant rubber duck? Yeah, that happened. Only in New York, right?

Guest Stars: A Who's Who of Hollywood

Now, here's where things get really interesting. This series is like a who's who of Hollywood. We're talking big names like Mariska Hargitay, Chris Noth, and even a young Ryan Gosling. Yes, you read that right. Gosling was here before he became a heartthrob!

But here's a fun fact for you. Gosling's character was originally written for a different actor. However, when that actor dropped out, the writers had to rewrite the entire script to accommodate Gosling. Talk about a lucky break!

Plot Twists: Expect the Unexpected

Alright, let's talk about the real reason we keep watching: the plot twists. This series is full of them. Just when you think you've got it all figured out, BAM! The writers throw a curveball.

Remember the episode where the victim turns out to be the killer? Yeah, that one had me scratching my head for days.

Why We Can't Get Enough

So, why do we keep coming back for more? Well, aside from the gripping cases and the awesome cast, there's something about the dynamic between Goren and Eames that just works.

They're like the ultimate odd couple. Goren's all instinct and emotion, while Eames is logic and reason. Together, they make one heck of a detective duo.

And let's not forget the music. The jazz soundtrack is like the cherry on top of this crime-solving sundae. It's just so... New York.

So, What Are You Waiting For?

There you have it, folks. A fun, quirky, and totally engaging look at 'Law & Order: Criminal Intent' series three. So, what are you waiting for? Grab your popcorn, crank up the jazz, and get ready to solve some crimes. Just remember, it's all in good fun. Don't go trying to solve real-life cases at home!
