First Things First

Alright, so let's start with the basics. Rich Gannon, the former NFL quarterback, was born in 1965. Jonathan Gannon, the current defensive coordinator for the Philadelphia Eagles, was born in 1981. Now, I don't know about you, but that 16-year age gap has me raising an eyebrow. They're not exactly twins separated at birth, are they?

But hold your horses, because here's where it gets interesting. They're both from the same neck of the woods - Michigan. Rich is from Royal Oak, and Jonathan hails from nearby Rochester Hills. Coincidence? Maybe, maybe not. But it's enough to make us raise an eyebrow, right?

Family Trees

Now, let's talk family. Rich's full name is Richard Thomas Gannon III. Jonathan's full name is Jonathan Michael Gannon. See where I'm going with this? They've both got 'Gannon' as their last name, and they're both from Michigan. But are they related?

Well, here's where things get a bit tricky. There's no official record of them being related. No family trees on Ancestry.com connecting the dots. But hey, that doesn't mean they're not distant cousins or something, right?

Now, here's where things get a bit blurry. There's no record of them ever working together or even crossing paths. But hey, that doesn't mean they didn't. The NFL world is a small one, after all.
