How To Find Someone's Wishlist On Amazon

So, you're curious about someone's wishlist on Amazon, huh? Let's dive in, shall we?

Why the Intrigue?

Now, I won't judge. Maybe you're a secret Santa on a mission, or perhaps you're just plain curious. Either way, let's get you that list. But first, a little reality check: not everyone wants their wishlist public. So, let's keep this between you, me, and the virtual wall, yeah?

Public vs. Private

Amazon, being the tech-savvy giant it is, gives users the option to make their wishlists public or private. Public lists are easy peasy to find, but private ones? Well, that's where things get a tad trickier. But don't worry, I've got a few tricks up my sleeve.

Finding Public Wishlists

Alright, let's start with the easy stuff. If the wishlist is public, finding it is as simple as asking Amazon nicely. Just type "site:amazon.com inurl:wishlist [username]" into Google, replacing "[username]" with the person's Amazon username. Ta-da! Their wishlist should pop right up.

But hold on, what if the list is private? Don't lose hope just yet. We can still give it a shot.

Cracking the Private Code

Okay, so this one's a bit of a long shot, but it's worth a try. Sometimes, private wishlists can be accessed by adding a bit of code to the URL. Here's how:

1. Find the person's Amazon profile page. It should look something like this: https://www.amazon.com/gp/profile/amzn1.account.AB1234567890
2. Change the "amzn1.account" part to "wishlist" like so: https://www.amazon.com/gp/registry/wishlist/AB1234567890
3. Hit enter and cross your fingers. If the wishlist is public or the person hasn't set it to private, you might just get lucky.

If that doesn't work, it's time to face the facts: the list is private, and the only way to see it is if the person shares it with you directly. But hey, at least you gave it your best shot, right?
