How Much Is One Gifted Sub On Twitch

Ever found yourself wondering, "How much is one gifted Sub on Twitch?" while binge-watching your favorite streamer? You're not alone. Let's dive into the world of Twitch subscriptions, their cost, and what they mean for both streamers and viewers.

What's a Gifted Sub?

A gifted subscription, or 'gifted sub', is when a Twitch user (the gifter) pays for a subscription to a channel on behalf of another user (the recipient). It's like buying a friend a month of access to exclusive perks, like emotes, badges, and ad-free viewing.

But how much does this act of streaming generosity cost? Let's break it down.

How Much Does a Gifted Sub Cost?

Twitch subscriptions come in three tiers: $4.99, $9.99, and $24.99. The gifter pays the full price, but the recipient only sees the subscription cost in their own currency. For instance, in the US, a $4.99 sub appears as $4.99 to the gifter and the recipient.

Here's a quick rundown of the costs in USD:

• $4.99 - The most common tier, often referred to as the 'Tier 1' sub.
• $9.99 - The 'Tier 2' sub, offering more perks and supporting the streamer more.
• $24.99 - The 'Tier 3' sub, the most expensive and supportive option.

But remember, prices can vary depending on the recipient's location and Twitch's regional pricing.

Why Gift a Sub?

Gifting a sub isn't just about showing support. It's also a way to engage with the community. Recipients often receive a message from the gifter, creating a personal connection. Plus, it's a great way to celebrate stream milestones or just brighten someone's day.

Think of it like buying a friend a coffee. You're not just paying for the drink; you're investing in a moment of shared joy and camaraderie.
