Boarding the Ark

Noah, his family, and two of every creature piled onto the Ark. It must've been like the world's biggest sleepover, with Noah acting as the host with the mostest. But how long did this floating zoo last?

According to the Bible, the Ark landed on Mount Ararat 150 days after the waters started to rise. That's over five months of floating around, trying to keep everyone and everything in order. Talk about a long family vacation!

But wait, there's more!

After the Ark landed, Noah and his crew had to wait for the waters to recede and the land to dry out. In total, it took a whole year before Noah could open the Ark's door and let everyone out for a breath of fresh air.
