Does Costco Executive Members Get In Early

So, there I was, standing in line at Costco, the sun barely a whisper on the horizon. You know the drill - the carts are still chained up, the doors are locked tight, and the anticipation is palpable. I'm not the only one there, oh no, we're a motley crew of early birds, all waiting for the magic words: "Welcome to Costco. We're open from dawn 'til dusk, every day!"

Now, I've been a Costco loyalist for years, and I've got the membership card to prove it. But here's the thing, I'm not an Executive Member. I've often wondered, as I stand there in the cool morning air, if those Executive Members get to skip the line, waltz right in, and start their shopping spree before the rest of us mere mortals.

So, what's the deal with Executive Members?

First things first, let's clear the air. No, Costco Executive Members don't get to bypass the line and enter the store before everyone else. I know, I know, it's disappointing, but it's the truth. The early bird might catch the worm, but it doesn't get to shop before the rest of the flock.

But, and this is a big but, Executive Members do get a few perks that make their Costco experience a bit sweeter. For starters, they earn 2% annual rewards on qualified purchases. That's right, every time you swipe your Executive Membership card, you're essentially getting 2% back in rewards. Not too shabby, huh?

Now, you might be thinking, "That's all well and good, but I'm still standing out here in the cold, waiting for the store to open." Well, my friend, there's a silver lining to that cloud. Costco opens its doors at the same time for everyone, regardless of membership status. So, if you're an early bird like me, you'll get to enjoy the empty aisles and the peaceful shopping experience before the crowds roll in.

But what about those special shopping hours?

You've probably heard about those special shopping hours for seniors and people with disabilities. Well, Executive Members get to enjoy those hours too! That means you can shop in peace and quiet, without the hustle and bustle of the afternoon crowd. It's like having your own personal Costco, just for a little while.

So, while Executive Members might not get to enter the store before everyone else, they do get a few perks that make their shopping experience a bit more enjoyable. And hey, if you're an early bird like me, you'll still get to enjoy the empty aisles and the peaceful shopping experience before the crowds roll in. It's all about finding the silver lining, right?

And who knows, maybe one day Costco will decide to let Executive Members skip the line. Until then, we'll just have to enjoy the perks we do have and make the most of our early morning shopping trips. Happy shopping, my friends!
