Meet the Gang: A Chill Chat with the Cast of 'Under the Bridge'

Ever found yourself binge-watching 'Under the Bridge' on Netflix, laughing out loud at the quirky characters, and wondering what they're like in real life? Well, grab a cup of coffee (or tea, we don't discriminate), get comfy, and let's dish the dirt on the cast that's got us hooked.

Our Favorite Misunderstood Genius: Alex

Played by the charming Jake Johnson, Alex is the lovable, albeit slightly dysfunctional, protagonist of the show. Jake, known for his roles in 'New Girl' and 'Jurassic World,' brings a perfect mix of humor and heart to Alex. When asked about his character, Jake laughed, "Alex is like that friend who always has a great time, but also leaves you wondering, 'How did we get here?'" His tip for embracing life's little mishaps? "Roll with it, man. Laughter's the best medicine."

Alex's Love Interest: The Enigmatic Mia

Portrayed by the captivating Zoe Kravitz, Mia is the mysterious, free-spirited love interest who keeps us on our toes. Zoe, who's also slayed roles in 'Big Little Lies' and 'The Batman,' brings an effortless cool to Mia. She shared, "Mia's all about living in the moment. My advice? Don't overthink it. Dance in the rain, you know?"

The Sidekicks: Charlie and Sam

No crew is complete without the hilarious best friends, and 'Under the Bridge' delivers with Glenn Howerton as Charlie and Adam Scott as Sam. Glenn, known for 'It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia,' and Adam, from 'Parks and Recreation,' have a chemistry that's as explosive as a fireworks display. Their secret to comedy? "Timing," says Glenn. "And a lot of caffeine," adds Adam.

From Script to Screen: A Fun Fact

Did you know that the iconic 'Under the Bridge' theme song is a nod to the Red Hot Chili Peppers' hit of the same name? The show's creator, David Miner, is a self-proclaimed RHCP fan and thought it'd be a fun Easter egg for viewers.
