Cast Of Run Away Tv Series Season 1

Meet the Gang: The Runaways Cast Season 1

Alright, gather 'round, folks! We're diving into the world of Runaways, the Marvel series that's got us all hooked. Season 1 introduced us to a stellar cast, and boy, do they deliver! Let's dish out some fun facts and quirky details, yeah?

Our Fearless Leaders

At the helm, we've got Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage, the dynamic duo who brought us Gossip Girl. They're the masterminds behind this teen superhero extravaganza. Schwartz once admitted he's a closet comic book geek, so we're in good hands!

And who's the brains behind the camera? None other than Peter Sollett, who directed the pilot. You might know him from Nick & Norah's Infinite Playlist. He's got a knack for capturing that youthful energy, perfect for our Runaways!

Our Fab Five

Now, let's meet our main crew! First up, we've got Rhenzy Feliz as Alex Wilder, the brainiac who brings the team together. Did you know Rhenzy's a real-life gamer geek? He's been playing World of Warcraft since he was 12!

Next, we've got Ariela Barer as Gert Yorkes, the sarcastic, tech-savvy Runaways. Ariela's a multitalented gal - she's also a musician and a comedian! She even performed at the Montreal Just For Laughs festival. Impressive, huh?

Then there's Lyrica Okano as Nico Minoru, the mysterious and badass sword-wielder. Lyrica's a martial arts pro, so those fight scenes are all her! She's been practicing since she was 5. Now that's dedication!

Meet Gregg Sulkin as Chase Stein, the jock with a heart of gold. Gregg's a Brit, but he's been crushing the American teen scene. Fun fact: he's also a big football (soccer, for us Yanks) fan. Go Gregg!

Last but not least, we've got Allegra Acosta as Molly Hayes, the youngest and most powerful Runaway. Allegra's a total sweetheart, and she's been acting since she was 7. She's also a big fan of Harry Potter. We're sensing a theme here - these kids love their superheroes and magic!

Our Villains

Now, let's not forget our baddies! Brittany Ishibashi plays Yoi Yorkes, Gert's mom and a not-so-nice person. Brittany's a total sweetheart in real life, but she nails that cold, calculating vibe. She's also a huge fan of the show This Is Us. Who isn't, right?

And who's the big bad of Season 1? None other than Patton Oswalt as Jonah. Patton's a comedy legend, and he's hilarious in this series. But don't worry, he's still got that dry, sarcastic wit. Just look out for those tentacles!

Why We Love 'Em

So, why are we all obsessed with these Runaways? Well, for starters, they're a diverse, relatable bunch. They're not your typical, perfect superheroes. They're flawed, they're funny, and they're figuring things out as they go. Just like us!

Plus, they've got some seriously cool powers. I mean, who wouldn't want to control animals or wield a magical sword? And let's not forget the epic fight scenes and the thrilling mysteries. It's like a party in your living room every time you tune in!

So, there you have it, folks! The cast of Runaways Season 1 is a wild, talented bunch. They're making Marvel magic, and we're loving every minute of it. Now, who's ready for Season 2?
