Behold Then Sings My Soul Hillsong Lyrics

So, you've found yourself humming Behold Then Sings My Soul by Hillsong, huh? Let's dive into this modern-day hymn, shall we? Grab your coffee, get comfy, and let's chat about it.

First things first, who's behind this tune? Well, it's Hillsong, of course! Those Aussie worship leaders who've been filling our playlists with praise since the '80s. But this particular song? It's from their Let There Be Light album, released in 2017. You know, the one that had us all singing Who You Say I Am at the top of our lungs.

Now, let's talk lyrics. The song opens with a question, "Behold, what is this?" It's like Hillsong's inviting us to pause, look around, and really see what's happening. It's a bit like when you're walking down the street, and suddenly, you notice that one quirky house you've passed a thousand times. You know?

Then, we dive into the chorus. "Then sings my soul, my Savior God, to You, I will sing." It's a declaration, a promise. It's like when you're having a crappy day, but then you remember that one thing that makes you smile, and you just have to sing about it. You feel me?

But here's the thing, this song isn't just about us singing our praises. It's about listening too. The verse goes, "I will listen, I will learn, I will love." It's a reminder that our relationship with God isn't just about us talking. It's about us listening too. You know, like when you're on the phone with your mom, and she's telling you about her day. You gotta listen, right?

And then, there's that bridge. "You are holy, holy, holy." It's a moment of awe, of reverence. It's like when you're standing at the edge of the Grand Canyon, and you're just wowed by the sheer size and beauty of it all. That's what this song does. It takes us from our everyday lives and drops us right into the presence of God.
