Who Plays Sam Mitchell In Eastenders

Alright, gather 'round, gather 'round, I've got a tale to tell you about a certain Sam Mitchell in EastEnders. Now, you might be thinking, "Who's that? The bloke who runs the launderette?" Well, no, that's not quite right. But stick around, I promise it's a good'un.

Once Upon a Time in Walford...

So, picture this. It's the '90s, EastEnders is in full swing, and along comes this fella, Dylan Lewis, playing the part of Sam Mitchell. Now, Dylan, he's not your average Joe. He's a Welsh actor, born in Cardiff, and he's got more strings to his bow than a whole orchestra. He's played everything from a doctor in Casualty to a vicar in The Vicar of Dibley. But EastEnders, that's where he really made his mark.

Now, Sam Mitchell, he's not your average soap character either. He's a bit of a rogue, a bit of a chancer, but deep down, he's got a heart of gold. Or so we're told. Anyway, Dylan slips into that role like a well-worn pair of slippers. He's got that cheeky charm, that twinkle in his eye, and he's got the Walford lot eating out of the palm of his hand.

Enter the Mitchells...

Sam, he's a Mitchell, you see. Now, if you know your EastEnders, you'll know the Mitchells are about as welcome in Walford as a fox in a henhouse. They're trouble, with a capital 'T'. There's Phil, the hardman, Grant, the... well, he's a bit of a mystery, and then there's Sam, the charmer. The Mitchells, they're like a soap opera's version of the Three Musketeers. All for one, and one for the... well, you get the picture.

So, Dylan's running around, causing chaos, breaking hearts, and generally being a Mitchell. And we're all loving it. He's got that certain something, that je ne sais quoi, that makes you tune in every night to see what he's up to next. He's like a soap opera's equivalent of a box of chocolates. You never know what you're gonna get.

And Then Came the Twist...

Now, here's where it gets interesting. Dylan's been playing Sam for a few years, and we're all settled in, thinking we know the score. But then, plot twist! Dylan decides he's had enough of the Mitchell mayhem and he leaves the show. We're all devastated, of course. Who's gonna cause the chaos now?

But then, just when we think all hope is lost, EastEnders throws us a lifeline. They bring in a new Sam Mitchell. A new actor, Danniella Westbrook, takes on the role. Now, Danniella, she's no stranger to the soap world either. She's played a character called Sam before, in a show called Family Affairs. But this time, it's a different kettle of fish. This time, she's a Mitchell. And she's got some big shoes to fill.

But fill them she does. Danniella slips into the role like she was born to play it. She's got that Mitchell spark, that feistiness, that... well, that something that makes us love her just as much as we loved Dylan. And just like that, Sam Mitchell is back, and Walford is never gonna be the same again.

And the Rest is History...

So there you have it. The tale of Sam Mitchell, from Dylan Lewis to Danniella Westbrook. It's a story of soap opera magic, of actors slipping into roles like they were made for them, and of us, the viewers, loving every minute of it.

And if you ever find yourself wondering who plays Sam Mitchell in EastEnders, well, now you know. It's been Dylan Lewis, and it's been Danniella Westbrook. And both of them, they've been nothing short of brilliant. So, grab a cuppa, settle down, and enjoy the show. After all, it's not just a soap opera. It's a Mitchell family affair.
