What Time Is Jai Opetaia Fight Australia

Hey there, fight fans! You've probably been wondering, "When's the big Jai Opetaia fight happening in Australia?" Well, grab a cuppa, 'cause we're about to dive in and find out together.

Mark Your Calendars

Alright, so here's the deal. The main event is set to go down on August 20, 2022. That's right, folks! We're talking about the Jai Opetaia vs Mairis Briedis heavyweight clash for the IBF and WBC cruiserweight titles. It's gonna be a big one, trust me.

Now, I know what you're thinking, "But where's the party at?" Well, the fight's happening at the RAC Arena in Perth, Western Australia. So, if you're lucky enough to be in the area, grab your tickets and get ready to rumble!

What Time, You Ask?

Alright, let's get down to business. The undercard starts at 6 PM AWST (Australian Western Standard Time), but the main event isn't expected to kick off until around 9 PM AWST. Of course, these times can change, so keep an eye on your local sports channels for any updates.

If you're not in Perth, don't worry! You can still catch the action on Main Event and Foxtel if you're in Australia. And if you're elsewhere in the world, check your local sports channels for broadcast details.

Who's Ready for Some Action?

Now, let's talk about our main man, Jai Opetaia. This guy's a local hero, hailing from Sydney, and he's ready to make Australia proud. With a record of 20-0, he's looking to add Briedis' name to his list of victims and bring those shiny belts home.

But let's not forget about the challenger, Mairis Briedis. This Latvian beast is no walk in the park. He's a former WBC champion and has only lost once in his career. He's coming to Australia to spoil the party, so Jai's got his work cut out for him.

Prediction Time!

Alright, I know you're all dying to know who I think is gonna win. Well, I'm not gonna lie, this one's a tough call. Both fighters are at the top of their game, and either could walk away with the W.

But, you know me, I'm a sucker for a good underdog story. And let's face it, Jai's got the home advantage. So, I'm gonna go out on a limb and say our boy Jai's gonna bring the heat and leave with the belts. But hey, that's just my two cents!

Let's Make Some Noise!

Alright, folks! That's all for now. Don't forget to tune in on August 20 and show your support for Jai. Whether you're at the RAC Arena or watching from home, let's make some noise and show the world what Australian fight fans are made of!

And remember, no matter who wins, it's the love of the sport that brings us all together. So, let's enjoy the show and celebrate the art of boxing. Until next time, fight fans! Keep your hands up and your eyes on the prize!
