What Is Nicholas Lyndhurst Doing Now

So, there I was, flicking through the channels the other night, when who should pop up on my screen but Nicholas Lyndhurst! I mean, talk about a blast from the past. It got me thinking, "What on earth has he been up to all these years?"

Now, I know what you're thinking, "Isn't he the guy from Only Fools and Horses?" Well, yes, indeed he is. But let's not forget his other notable roles, like Goodnight Sweetheart and Rock & Chips. The man's been busy, folks!

From Trotters to... Theatre?

Alright, so you're probably wondering, "What's Nick been doing since we last saw him?" Well, buckle up, because it's been a bit of a rollercoaster.

After Rock & Chips wrapped up in 2011, Nicholas took a bit of a break from the small screen. But that doesn't mean he was twiddling his thumbs. Oh no, our Nick was busy treading the boards, that's what!

He popped up in the West End in a few plays, like The Bodyguard and Caught in the Net. I mean, can you imagine Rodney Trotter singing "I Will Always Love You"? I'd pay good money to see that!

Back on the Box

But fear not, dear reader, Nicholas didn't leave us TV lovers high and dry. Oh no, he made a comeback in 2018 with Benidorm. I know, right? Talk about a shock to the system!

Now, I'm not gonna lie, seeing Nicholas in a pair of speedos was... well, let's just say it was an experience. But he pulled it off, and I'll tell you what, he had the whole place in stitches.

And he's not stopped there. He's been popping up in all sorts of shows since then, from Death in Paradise to New Tricks. The man's a busy bee, I tell ya!

What's Next for Nick?

So, what's in store for our favorite chameleon? Well, folks, it looks like he's got a few projects in the pipeline. But, as they say, "Loose lips sink ships," so I won't spill the beans just yet.

All I'll say is, keep your eyes peeled. Our Nick's not one to rest on his laurels, and I reckon we'll be seeing a lot more of him in the near future.

And there you have it, folks. A whirlwind tour of Nicholas Lyndhurst's career since we last saw him. Not bad for a bloke who started out as a cheeky chappie from Peckham, eh?
