Screen On The Green Cinema Islington

Hey there, film buffs and casual cinema-goers alike! Ever felt like you're missing out on that classic movie-watching experience? You know, the one where you're not stuck in your living room, but under the stars with a bunch of strangers who might just become friends? Well, let me introduce you to your new favourite summer hangout - Screen on the Green in Islington.

What's the Big Deal?

Picture this: a balmy summer evening, a sprawling green space, and a giant screen set up, ready to transport you into a world of cinematic magic. That's Screen on the Green for you! This isn't your average cinema experience, folks. It's like a picnic, a party, and a movie night all rolled into one.

But Wait, There's More!

Now, you might be thinking, "That sounds amazing, but what about the weather?" Well, don't you worry! The organisers have thought of everything. If the British summer decides to throw a tantrum, they've got a backup plan. They'll move the screening indoors to the nearby Union Chapel. So, rain or shine, the show must go on!

And what's a movie night without some delicious snacks? Screen on the Green has got you covered there too. They've got a whole range of food and drink stalls, from mouth-watering burgers to scrumptious ice cream. You can even bring your own picnic if you fancy!

What's Playing?

Now, let's talk about the main event - the movies! The lineup changes every year, but you can expect a mix of old classics and new favourites. From cult hits like 'The Big Lebowski' to modern-day masterpieces like 'Parasite', there's something for everyone. And the best part? You get to vote for some of the films! How cool is that?
