Cassandra From Only Fools And Horses

So, grab a cuppa, get comfy, 'cause we're diving into the world of one of Britain's most beloved sitcoms, Only Fools and Horses. You know the one, right? The Trotters, Del Boy, Rodney, Uncle Albert, and the infamous three-wheeled van. Today, we're shining a spotlight on one of the show's most iconic characters, Cassandra.

Who's Cassandra, you ask?

Well, she's the long-suffering girlfriend, later wife, of our lovable rogue, Del Boy. Played by the fantastic Gwyneth Strong, Cassandra is the voice of reason in a world filled with Trotter schemes and dodgy deals. She's the one who keeps Del grounded, or at least tries to.

Cassandra, the unsung hero

Let's face it, being in a relationship with Del Boy can't be easy. He's always got a 'get rich quick' scheme on the go, and half the time, he's more interested in his beloved Reliant Robin than he is in her. But Cassandra sticks by him, through thick and thin. She's the rock that keeps the Trotter family afloat, and let's be honest, without her, Del would've ended up in even more scrapes than he did.

Remember the time Del tried to sell her a dodgy watch as a 'limited edition'? Or when he 'forgot' her birthday? Cassandra took it all in her stride, with a roll of her eyes and a shake of her head. She's the ultimate long-suffering partner, and we can't help but love her for it.

Cassandra, the fashion icon

Now, let's talk about Cassandra's style. She's got a look that's all her own, and it's one we can't help but admire. From her signature permed hair to her bold, colorful outfits, she's a fashion icon in her own right. She's not afraid to stand out, and that's something we can all get behind.

And let's not forget her love for a good pair of heels. Even when she's out and about with Del, she's always dressed to impress. It's no wonder she caught the eye of our favorite market trader.

Cassandra, the matchmaker

Aside from being the voice of reason in Del's life, Cassandra also played a crucial role in bringing together another iconic duo - Rodney and Cassandra's sister, Michelle. Remember when Rodney was trying to impress Michelle with his 'art'? And then there was the time he 'borrowed' Del's suit to take her out? Cassandra was always there, offering a word of advice or a gentle nudge in the right direction.

Without Cassandra, who knows what kind of chaos would've ensued in the Trotter household? She's the unsung hero of the show, and it's about time we gave her the credit she deserves.

So, what's your favorite Cassandra moment?

Whether it's her hilarious one-liners, her unwavering support of Del, or her incredible sense of style, there's no denying that Cassandra is a force to be reckoned with. So, grab another cuppa, and let's chat about it. What's your favorite Cassandra moment from Only Fools and Horses?
