New Series Only Fools And Horses

Alright, mate, grab a cuppa and pull up a chair. You won't believe what I've just heard. Only Fools and Horses is back! Well, not quite the original, but close enough to get us all excited.

So, what's the deal? It's a new series, yeah, but it's not Del Boy and Rodney we're talking about here. It's their kids, Raquel and Damien. Can you even remember them? I had to think for a sec myself.

Now, before you start rolling your eyes, hear me out. It's not just some cheap cash-in. The BBC's behind it, and they've got some proper talent on board. Jim Moir, you know, the one who played Vic and Bob, he's involved. And they've got a few new faces too, to keep things fresh.

So, what's it all about?

Well, it's set in the present day, but it's still got that classic Peckham feel. Raquel's all grown up now, running the Trotters' Independent Trading Company. You remember, Del's little venture that never quite took off. But Raquel, she's got big plans. She's trying to take the company global, can you believe it?

And Damien, he's not the little kid we last saw. He's all grown up too, with a family of his own. He's a bit of a tech whizz, trying to navigate the modern world while keeping one eye on the family business. It's a bit of a laugh, seeing these Trotters trying to keep up with the times.

But what about Del and Rodney?

Ah, now that's the million-pound question, isn't it? Well, they're not exactly front and center, but they're not forgotten either. I've heard whispers that they might make a few appearances. But shh, that's just between you and me, yeah?

Now, I know what you're thinking. "It's not the same without Del and Rodney." I get it, I do. But give it a chance, will ya? It's not trying to replace the original, it's just carrying on the story. And who knows, maybe we'll all fall in love with the new Trotters just as much as we did the old ones.

So, when can we expect it?

Patience, my friend. The BBC's being a bit tight-lipped about the exact release date. But we do know it's coming sometime this year. So, keep your eyes peeled, and I'll let you know as soon as I hear anything.

In the meantime, why not dust off your old DVDs and have a little Only Fools marathon? It's been ages since I last saw Del fall through that bar. Classic stuff, that is.

Anyway, that's all I've got for now. But I'll be back with more as soon as I hear it. Until then, keep your eyes on the telly and your fingers crossed for a brilliant new series.
