New Horror Movies In Theaters

Hey there, horror fans! Grab your popcorn and let's dive into the spooktacular new movies that are giving us the chills in theaters right now. Buckle up, 'cause we've got a wild ride ahead!

Slasher Flick with a Twist

First up, we've got Freaky, a slasher comedy that's as hilarious as it is horrifying. Imagine Freaky Friday meets Scream, and you've got a movie that's got everyone talking. The twist? A bullied teen switches bodies with the town's infamous serial killer. Talk about a bad day!

Now, here's where it gets freaky. The actor who plays the killer, Vince Vaughn, had to learn how to walk like a teenager again to nail the role. Can you imagine Wedding Crashers Vince trying to master the art of the awkward teen walk? We're dying laughing just thinking about it!

Ghostly Goodness

Next, we've got Come Play, a chilling tale about a lonely boy who befriends a mischievous monster. It's like E.T. but with way more scares and way less Reese's Pieces. This movie is so realistic, it'll make you check under your bed every night. And get this - the monster was brought to life using a mix of practical effects and CGI. Talk about old-school meets new-school!

But here's the kicker - the movie was inspired by a real-life app that kids can use to interact with monsters. Yikes! We're not sure if that's genius or just plain terrifying. Either way, it's got us tapping our screens a little too cautiously.

Creepy Crawlies

If you're into your horror with a side of nature documentary, then Antlers is the movie for you. This one's got a monster that's equal parts terrifying and fascinating. We're talking a creature that's part man, part beast, and all kinds of wrong. It's like The Revenant meets The Thing, and it's guaranteed to make you squirm in your seat.

Now, here's a fun fact for you. The movie was filmed in remote locations in Canada, and the crew had to deal with some seriously creepy crawlies. We're talking spiders the size of your hand and bears that were just a little too curious. Talk about a horror movie behind the scenes!

Spooky and Sweet

Last but not least, we've got The Dark and the Wicked, a chilling tale about two siblings who return to their family farm to care for their ailing father. But something evil lurks in the shadows, and it's not long before the siblings are fighting for their lives. It's like Let the Right One In meets The Witch, and it's guaranteed to give you nightmares.
