Is Waitrose Open On Good Friday

Hey there, foodie friend! You're probably wondering, "Is Waitrose open on Good Friday? I've got a serious craving for their posh ready meals and a bottle of something fancy to wash it all down with." Well, buckle up, because I'm about to drop some knowledge on you.

Let's Talk Easter Trading Hours

First things first, Waitrose, like many other supermarkets, has a bit of a wonky opening schedule over the Easter weekend. It's not that they're being egg-ceptionally difficult, it's just that they want their staff to enjoy some quality time with their loved ones too.

Now, let's get down to business. On Good Friday, Waitrose stores will be open, but they'll be closing their doors a wee bit earlier than usual. So, if you're planning a last-minute shop for your Easter feast, make sure you don't leave it until the last chick has hatched.

What Time Does Waitrose Close on Good Friday?

Alright, here's the crucial bit. On Good Friday, most Waitrose stores will be closing at 6 pm. That's right, you've got until the sun starts to set to grab those last-minute ingredients for your Easter dinner. But remember, this can vary depending on the store, so it's always a good idea to check your local branch's opening hours just to be sure.

And if you're thinking, "But what if I can't make it before 6 pm? Will I be left egg-stremely disappointed?" Fear not, dear shopper. Waitrose has thought of everything. They've got an online grocery service that'll deliver your shopping straight to your door. Just make sure you place your order before the deadline, which is usually the day before you want your delivery.

Easter Sunday and Bank Holiday Monday

Now, let's talk about the other days in the Easter weekend. On Easter Sunday, most Waitrose stores will be closed. It's a day for feasting, family, and finding those pesky Easter eggs, not queuing in the supermarket. So, make sure you've stocked up on everything you need before the big day.
