Is Dean Mcdermott Related To Dylan Mcdermott

So, there I was, binge-watching Ghost Whisperer the other day - you know, that cozy little supernatural drama from the early 2000s? Yeah, that one. And suddenly, it hit me. "Hey, isn't that guy from The Vow?" I thought. You know, the reality TV show about that whole NXIVM cult thing. And that's when the great mystery of our time presented itself: Are Dean McDermott and Dylan McDermott related?

Let's Dive In, Shall We?

Now, I know what you're thinking. "But they don't even sound alike!" And you're right. Dean's got that Canadian charm, all "eh" and "sorry," while Dylan's got a more... American twang. But looks can be deceiving, my friends. Let's not forget, actors are trained to transform.

First things first, let's get the basics out of the way. No, they're not brothers. No, they're not cousins. In fact, they're not even related at all. But that doesn't mean they don't share some interesting connections.

So, What's the Deal?

Alright, so here's the thing. Both Dean and Dylan were born in the same year - 1966. That's right, they're both 55 (as of 2021, anyway). Now, I know what you're thinking. "Big deal, everyone was born in 1966!" And you're right. But bear with me, folks. We're just getting started.

Now, here's where it gets interesting. Both actors have had their fair share of reality TV. Dean, of course, is known for his role in The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, thanks to his marriage to Fitness Guru and RHOBH star, Tori Spelling. And Dylan? Well, he was in Celebrity Fit Club. You know, that show where celebrities compete to lose weight. Yeah, that one.

But here's where it gets really interesting. Both actors have played fathers on TV. Dean played a dad on Tori & Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood, and Dylan played one on The Practice. Coincidence? I think not!

But Wait, There's More!

Now, you might be thinking, "Okay, so they're both actors, they're both Canadian, and they've both been on reality TV. But that doesn't prove anything!" And you're right. But here's where it gets really weird.

Both actors have played vampires! Dean was in Dracula: The Series, and Dylan was in American Horror Story: Hotel. Now, I don't know about you, but I think that's a little too much of a coincidence.

But here's the kicker. Both actors have also played doctors. Dean was in Hope & Faith, and Dylan was in The Nine Lives of Chloe King. I mean, come on! What are the odds?

Dylan McDermott and Dermot Mulroney will finally share the screen

So, What's the Verdict?

Alright, so we've established that Dean McDermott and Dylan McDermott are both Canadian, both actors, both reality TV stars, both vampire-players, and both doctor-players. But are they related? The answer, my friends, is... no.

Despite all the evidence pointing to some sort of secret connection, it turns out that Dean and Dylan are just two very similar actors with very similar careers. And that, my friends, is the great mystery of our time, solved.

So, there you have it. The great Dean vs. Dylan debate, finally put to rest. Now, if you'll excuse me, I've got some Ghost Whisperer to catch up on. Until next time, folks!
