Ice T Law And Order Salary

So, there I was, binge-watching Law & Order: SVU the other day, and I found myself wondering, "How much does Ice T make for playing Fin Tutuola?" I mean, the guy's been on the show since 2000, that's like, what, 21 seasons? He's practically a part of the furniture at this point. So, let's dive into the fascinating world of Ice T's salary, shall we?

Ice T's Early Days

Before we get into the nitty-gritty of his Law & Order paycheck, let's take a quick trip down memory lane. Ice T, born Robert L. "Bobby" Lytes, started his career as a rapper in the early 80s. He was a pioneer of heavy metal hip hop, and his music was, well, let's just say it was not for the faint-hearted. But that's a story for another time.

From Rap to TV

Fast forward to 1996, Ice T makes his acting debut in the movie New Jack City. He's got this tough-guy persona, and it turns out, he's pretty good at playing a cop. So, when the opportunity to join the cast of Law & Order: SVU came up, he took it. And the rest, as they say, is history.

Ice T's SVU Salary

Now, let's get down to business. According to Celebrity Net Worth, Ice T earns around $200,000 per episode of Law & Order: SVU. That's right, you heard it here first, folks. To put that into perspective, that's about what I make in a year, and I don't even have to solve fictional crimes to do it.

But wait, there's more! Ice T also has a stake in the show's backend, which means he gets a cut of the show's profits. So, every time you're watching Mariska Hargitay and Christopher Meloni solve a case, Ice T's bank account is getting a little bit fatter. Not that I'm jealous or anything.
