How Much Money Does Josh Allen Make Per Game

So, you're curious about how much Josh Allen rakes in per game, huh? Let's grab a coffee and chat about it.

First Things First

Josh Allen, the Buffalo Bills' quarterback, is no stranger to the spotlight. And with that spotlight comes a pretty hefty paycheck.

But before we dive into the nitty-gritty, let's talk about his annual salary. As of 2021, Allen is making $43 million a year, according to Spotrac. That's right, forty-three million dollars. I'll give you a moment to pick your jaw up off the floor.

Now, About That Per Game Stuff

Alright, back to the question at hand. How much does Josh Allen make per game?

Well, first, we need to figure out how many games he plays in a season. In a normal season (yes, I had to specify that), the NFL has 17 games. But remember, Allen's not playing all of them. He's the starting quarterback, so he's not on the field for every snap.

Let's assume he plays in about 15 games (which is a reasonable estimate, given that he's started in 15 or more games in each of his first three seasons). Now, let's do some math:

$43,000,000 (annual salary) divided by 15 (games played) equals... wait for it... $2,866,666.67 per game!

That's right, folks. Josh Allen makes roughly $2.9 million per game. And that's before taxes, by the way. But hey, I guess when you're throwing touchdowns and leading your team to the playoffs, the money tends to follow.

But Wait, There's More

Now, let's talk about bonuses. Allen's contract includes some sweet incentives. For instance, he can earn up to $2 million in per-game roster bonuses and up to $1 million in incentives for things like Pro Bowl selections and playoff wins.

So, if Allen has a stellar season and racks up those bonuses, his per game earnings could potentially climb even higher. But remember, these are just estimates. The actual numbers can vary based on a variety of factors.

So, Is It Worth It?

You might be thinking, "Wow, that's a lot of money. Is it worth it?" Well, that's a matter of perspective. For Josh Allen, who's worked his whole life to become an elite quarterback, it probably feels like a fair deal.
