Has Sara Davies Left Dragons' Den

So, I was in the kitchen the other day, up to my elbows in dough, when my partner walks in and says, "You know Sara Davies, from Dragons' Den? She's left the show!" I nearly dropped my rolling pin. I mean, I knew she was taking a step back, but leaving the den completely? That's a big deal, right?

Now, if you're like me, you've been glued to the telly watching those entrepreneurs pitch their hearts out, and Sara, with her no-nonsense attitude and sharp business acumen, was always one of my faves. So, I had to find out more. Why the sudden departure? What's next for our favorite dragon?

Sara's Farewell

Alright, let's rewind a bit. Sara Davies, the crafting queen and business whizz, joined Dragons' Den back in 2019. She brought with her a fresh perspective, a passion for small businesses, and a knack for spotting a good investment. But after three series, she's decided to hang up her dragon wings.

In a statement, Sara said she wanted to focus on her family and her own businesses. Fair enough, I thought. Balancing a TV show, a family, and multiple businesses is no easy feat. She's been open about her struggles with work-life balance, so I can't blame her for wanting to prioritize her personal life.

But here's the thing, folks. Sara's not just leaving the show; she's also stepping down as the president of the British Chamber of Commerce. Now that's a big change. It seems like our Sara's got some serious plans cooking up in that clever head of hers.

What's Next for Sara?

So, what's next for our favorite dragon? Well, she's not one to sit still for long, that's for sure. She's got her own business empire to run, with her crafting company, Crafty Computer Paper, and her online learning platform, The Crafter's Companion. Plus, she's got her fingers in plenty of other pies, too.

But here's where it gets interesting. Sara's hinted that she's got some new projects on the horizon. She's been dropping hints about a new venture that's "close to her heart". Intriguing, right? I, for one, can't wait to see what she's got up her sleeve.

And who knows? Maybe we'll see her back on our screens soon enough. After all, she's said she'd love to do more TV in the future. Fingers crossed for a Sara Davies show, am I right?

Final Thoughts

So there you have it, folks. Sara Davies has left Dragons' Den, and while we're sad to see her go, we're excited to see what she does next. She's a force to be reckoned with, and I've no doubt she'll continue to inspire and empower entrepreneurs everywhere.

Now, if you'll excuse me, I've got some dough to knead. Until next time, folks!
