Meet the Big Cheese Behind the New England Patriots

Alright, folks, let's dive into the world of the New England Patriots. You might be wondering, who's the mastermind behind this powerhouse of a team? Well, buckle up, 'cause we're about to spill the beans on the man himself, Robert Kraft.

Now, you might be thinking, "Robert who?" But don't worry, by the time we're done, you'll be shouting "Go Pats!" with the best of them.

From the Ground Up

Robert Kraft, our man of the hour, wasn't always the billionaire football mogul you see today. No, no, he started from the ground up, just like any good underdog story. Born in 1941, young Robert grew up in the humble neighborhood of Brookline, Massachusetts. His dad owned a market, and young Robert helped out, learning the ropes of business from an early age.

After serving in the Army, Kraft went on to study at Columbia University and Harvard Business School. It was during his time at Harvard that he met his future wife, Myra Hiatt. They were married for 48 years until her passing in 2011. Isn't that sweet? Love and football, the American dream, right?

From Business to Football

Kraft's business acumen didn't stop at the classroom. He went on to found International Forest Products, a global paper and packaging company. But football was always his first love. In 1988, he bought the Patriots for a cool $172 million. Talk about a game-changer!
