Hey there, curious minds! Today, we're diving into the world of K-pop sensation ATEEZ and exploring a question that's been tickling our brains: who's the oldest member of this talented bunch?

Now, you might be thinking, "Why does it matter?" Well, let me tell you, it's not just about age. It's about perspective, experience, and the unique blend of personalities that make up this incredible group.

Meet the ATEEZ members

ATEEZ, or 'Eight' as they're often referred to, is a South Korean boy band consisting of eight members. They're known for their powerful performances, unique concepts, and a whole lot of talent. But who's the oldest among them?

Let's do a quick rundown of the members, shall we? We've got Hongjoong, the leader of the group, born in 1998. Then there's Seonghwa, born in 1998 as well, followed by Yunho in 1999, Yeosang in 2000, San in 2000 too, Mingi in 2001, Wooyoung in 2002, and finally, the youngest, Trez, born in 2004.

Drumroll, please!

So, who's the oldest? It's none other than Hongjoong! Born on November 7, 1998, Hongjoong is the eldest member of ATEEZ. But here's where it gets interesting: despite being the oldest, he's also the shortest member of the group, standing at just 170 cm tall. Isn't that a fun fact?

Now, you might be wondering, "How old is he compared to other K-pop idols?" Well, Hongjoong is about the same age as BTS's Jin, who was born in 1992, and a bit older than EXO's Sehun, born in 1994. But remember, age is just a number, and these guys are all killing it in the K-pop scene!

Why Hongjoong's age matters

Hongjoong's age brings a certain level of maturity and experience to the group. As the leader, he's the one who keeps the team grounded and motivated. He's like the wise old owl of the group, guiding the younger members and helping them navigate the ups and downs of their K-pop journey.

But here's the thing, Hongjoong might be the oldest, but he's also one of the most playful members of ATEEZ. He's known for his silly antics and hilarious jokes. It's like having the best of both worlds - the wisdom of an elder and the playful spirit of a younger sibling.
